Fianl straw was: He didn' do his homeowrk last night as he was too tired (well he did half) Sent a note in that he was too tired and that I didn't want him kept in atlunch. She shouted at him.

I went in blazing. She didn't know that he got home after 6 evry night ( how long has she worked there) Siad I was not happy and nor was he with her shouting at him. Said he hated school and used to love it.

We compromised about homework and I willhave a word with ds3 about his (apparenlty) cocky attitude ..news to me!!!

I hope your meeting has cleared the air, and she and ds3 make a new start together. Will he get a different teacher in September btw? I know it feels a long way off, particularly if his confidence and passion for school/learning are diminishing by the day, but it will soon be summer.

Is he in yr4? My 8 yr-old is still really shattered after school and he has no singing/music, etc., and gets home at 3.30 pm!
