Open evenings for prep school. Do we take dd?

That's it really. thinking of moving from state to private, going to visit some schools open evenings rather than open days. Are the evenings for parents only or should we take dd (this is the plan).

How old is your DD?

We did. Took DD to all the school visits we did. She was a year old at the first couple, 3y at the others. These were during the day though, tended to organise school tours rather than just go to open days.

She's 8. Going into year 4 in Sept.

These are possible schools for her btw. We have other dc who will be left at home. If we were going to open days then we would be taking her no question, her opinion is obviously important. It's just because these are in the evening and i'm not sure if we're expected to attend alone.
