Death of Bob Holness has just been announced. Feel sad as he was part of my teenage years. Remember lots of clever clogs 6th formers asking him for a P during blockbusters ( oh the innocence!) liked him as he was always very kind even to the thickos from our school who survived only one round. RIP

When I was in 6th form a group of us went to see Blockbusters being filmed, it was brillant.

He was lovely!

'can I have a pee please Bob' was just the coolest thing for those teenagers to say. Got a laugh every time

Still use my dictionary...lost the 'computer video game' (on a cassette tape!) and sweatshirt.

There was absolutely NO innocence, mumzy.

20 sixth formers holed up in a Birmingham hotel for upwards of 3 nights unsupervised...twas a veritable shagfest dorm party!

Today it's "give us an RIP, Bob".

I've just seen a very affectionate obit on the news.

Oh.. sorry to hear this.

Oh! Amstillsexy leave me to my delusions . BTW how many rounds did you survive?
