name spelling / recognition - advice please

DD1 (2.9) just started at a playgroup and has to learn recognition of her name to put coat on peg etc.

problem is they are using her registered name and we call her by shortened version and which they are doing also.

what should she learn? shortened version and used everyday or full name only used when naughty.

Ask them to replace the label with her shortened version!

We had that problem with my dd2, school changed it for her to her "real" name.

If she is going to be known as her shortened one then they and you should use that for labels etc.
