My DD has been involved and has two certificates from them. For every after school activity they do she gets credits and at the end of Key Stage 1 and then again at KS2 they get to go the the local university and have a cermony where they wear the cap and gowns (provided) and get presented with their certificates. It was lovely but not sure if the school is still involved.
