ruth miskin/ginn books - level comparison

dds school follows the ruth miskin RWI and she is currently working through leaflet type books with short stories, level pink although she has the same book for last 2 weeks.
but she also brings home a library book which now seems to be a ginn book eack week rather than just any fairy book she would choose so i think the teacher may be pointing her towards these. this weeks library book is ginn level 6.
is this supposed to be a similar level to rwi pink as it seems much longer although words are decodable?
