Classes, activities, playgroups in SE London?

I'm looking for fun classes and activities for my three year old DS and baby massage, mother & baby groups, etc for my two month old DD in SE London. I've contacted the Children's Information Service but the info they sent is just about schools and child care. We're in Blackheath and new to the area. Can anyone make some recommendations?

I have no local knowledge, but have you tried asking at (and checking the notice boards at) your local library? Families (the magazine for parents with more money than sense IMO but they have their uses) has listings: here is their website - just follow the links. Good luck!

Hallgerda, thanks so much. Hadn't even considered the local library but will check it out. Thanks for the link too. It looks great. Hadn't heard of Families but will have a look.

Some midweek activities for the 3 year-old at the Maritime Museum in greenwich, I think.

Our local Surestart office had details of baby massage - perhaps you could try them. Their details should be on the CIS website you first looked at. Your Health Visitor might be able to help with local contacts too.

I had a quick look on the CIS website, but got stuck as I'm not absolutely sure where Blackheath is in South London.

Try the following link which has details of mother & toddler sort of activities.
