Is there such a thing as an online course, aimed at say...11yolds, that with the use of vids ect, can teach them to draw.

I'm willing to pay for a decent product if anybody can recommend one. I can only find American ones and the tax I'd pay on Delivery of the DVDs amd supplies would make the price a tad eyewatering.

Preferable one that covers drawing people too.

Oh PS, I bought these special pencils that "paint" if you dip them in water, does anybody know what they are called in English so I can go dig around and find out what the technique is for using them effectively ?

thank you bruffin, search for watersoluble pencils turned up loads of tutorials inc youtube vids.

And I discovered we've been doing it wrong.

Wet paint brush over the pencil, not dipping the pencils in water.

Now why didn't it say that on the tin Grin ?

have you looked on youtube - DD has taught herself how to do all sorts of things from you tube.
