Homeschooling

We do not want to send our DD to the allocated primary school she is currently back at nursery until Jan. We are relunctantly considering home schooling until hopefully a place becomes available at our preference schools (we are on the waiting lists). Does anyone know of home school groups in the London bridge area? or has anyone who has been in a similar position offer any advice? :/

This site www.education-otherwise.net has a good overview of home education and links to some local home ed groups. Not all will be listed there, so don't be discouraged if there doesn't appear to be anything happening on your doorstep. Sometimes it takes a bit of asking around to find groups.
