There is at least one homeschooler on here (stupidgirl)prairiemuffin and there have been a few threads on homeschooling (do a search on home education or have a browse through the Education topic). Also do look at the Education Otherwise website (can't remember URL off the top of my head, but google will get you there) if you haven't already - doesn't cost much to join, and you get a huge contact list of home edders who are v helpful to parents thinking about home edding. Good luck!

I did for a year whilst fighting for a school placement for Ds2.

Did it for a year while abroad and am thinking of taking dd out of school again - teaching at home has made me realise how little she's achieving at school.

There was a big thread on it not so far back. Think it might have been started by ?spidermama? Might be in education?
