How is Mahatma Ghandi remembere today? All we can fin is the statue in tavistock square!

There is a blue plaque in Baron's Court Road, West London, which marks the house he lived in as a student. It's round the corner from my aunt's flat and is memorable for the fact it's a blue plaque for someone I've actually heard of.

isnt it the film that he is remembered by?
also, it depends on which people are doing the remembering. i think indians may almost sanctify him.
