Sauncey Wood Primary School Harpenden

Hi all,

I am hoping you can help me. I am moving to Harpenden within the next couple of weeks and I have spoken with the educuation department about school places. They say there is a school place at Sauncey Wood Primary School does anyone know anything about the school is it good/bad, what is the general local opinion of the school.

I would really value any information you have about it.

don't know the school at all but have you looked on OFSTED website - that would give you basic information and whether the school is considered to be satisfactory/good or not

Surely any school in Harpenden is ok isn't it? That place is so posh!

Take the place! The school had a terrible reputation in the past but is excellent now, and going forward presumably. You could always move dc later if you feel the need, once you're on waiting lists etc, but I suspect you won't...
