buy presents for nursery teachers?

DS now at pre-school every morning. What is the etiquette with regards xmas pressies for teachers? He has two main teachers....

DD has about 7 nursery ladies and so I'd only have about a £5 to spend on each which doesn't leave much other than chocs or smellies. I'd rather get something that benefits the nursery as a whole and just give the nursery ladies little cards with more personal notes in.

I bought a present for playschool(musical instruments) and a tin of chocs for staff,
school and nursery get chocs to share amoungnst class staff

how about a big box of biscuits.. or a box of quality street or something similar... for them to share..

I wouldn't say no....
