Quantative reasoning - school entry tests

I know what the verbal and non-verbal reasoning tests are likely to demand of my child when he sits his entrance tests for Year 7 in January 2012 but his preferred school refers to a Quantative Reasoning test as well - does anyone know what this might entail? Is it basic calculations, general numeracy and mathematical problem solving?

From what I remember from job interviews it's where they give you a table of figures (eg sales figures, populations etc) and as questions based around it - like 'if quarter 3 sales increased by 4%, which other quarter would they be closest to?' type thing.
