Pictory Book Kits

I just thought I would put in a word for these fantastic kits as I won one from mumsnet in a competition. My dd (age 6) has completed it and has now been "published". Her very own story and illustrations are in print! (Albeit in a very limited edition of one!) I have put it under education because I think they are very educational whilst being enormous fun. I would say any child who can draw at all and tell a story (the parents can write it in because it is printed later), say 3 upwards, will get a great deal of satisfaction out of it. My dd took hers to school where the story was read to her Yr 2 class, the pictures looked at and the book displayed for a day. All her friends now want one. The best thing is you can buy them from mumsnet and help the site at the same time. I haven't been asked to write a review but I thought I would anyway. My dd wants more!

Thanks for the endorsement Cam - if we had a payroll, anyone would think you're on it! We love the Pictorys too, which is why we decided to sell them from the site (by the way they make great Christmas presents, hint, hint ).
On this subject if anyone comes across a product they think we should sell, do let us know. Criteria are:

  1. great product for babies/kids/parents
  2. not widely available in the shops
  3. easy to post/ store (ie not too heavy or bulky)
  4. not too expensive
  5. good quality/ reliable Thanks, Justine, Carrie and Rachel
