Ks1 SATs

help I thought I had this all sorted with the whole 2a b c 3 etc but some of ojs results just give a number no letter is this normal?

Levels 1 and 3 have no a,b,c, reported at KS1.

and sublevels ( those a's, b's and c's ) are only usually reported for English and Maths, other subjects, if levelled, would just get a number.
