Three kids from my daughters drama club at school have pulled out of the play they have been rehersing all year, as they all have main parts the play is now unstageable, there are not enough kids to re-cast or double up.
The teacher involved is commited to producing something in 2 weeks, and obviously the other kids want to perform. Can I have some suggestions of short easy to learn pieces they could do in small groups, something we can pull together in a couple of weeks. Uncopyrighted would be helpfull.

I did a short play with a class of ten 11 year olds its about 20/30 mins long some bigger parts and some with just a few words called Six Primroses Each,it's about evacuees it is set in one room and not too difficult to learn . We had it learnt and ready to perform in about ten days.Easy to costume and a few gas mask boxes made from cereal boxes string and brown paper. If you have more time to fill maybe some of the children could do individual poems or duologues they already know and maybe a couple of well known songs they can sing as a group most of them will probably know the words already. Have also done a potted version of Joseph put together in 4 days.
