If your child said they had 'made' sick as part of a science lesson? (using a recipe digestive biscuits milk vinegar egg white etc)

I would say ' how disgusting and did it have carrots in it!'

Why would you make sick?

sharry · 18/11/2005 12:19

As part of a topic about digestion! It would be used to introduce new concepts acid bile and projection, why we are sick etc.

Quite interesting then..bet the kids loved it. My ds loves sick and poo stories. Gross.

PeachyPlumPudding · 18/11/2005 12:28

Honestly? At last a teacher who knows how to get the kids attention. Sorry, suspect not answer you were looking for.

WigWamBam · 18/11/2005 12:29

I'd think it was an interesting way to teach science, and if it kept the children's attention then three cheers for the teacher.

I would laugh and think it was funny

Gross, but the kids probably loved it. Isn't there a book called 'Owl Puke' out at the moment, complete with a sterilised, but real, lump of 'owl puke' included? Totally gross though......

scotlou · 18/11/2005 12:37

Great idea - once took the kids to a "lecture" in Dundee science centre titled "How to make a perfect poo!" Kids loved it and still talk about it!

coppertop · 18/11/2005 12:40

Ewwwww! I suspect ds1 would love it though.

Id be delighted that the teacher had such initiative and was so good at getting the kids attention. Would be even more delighted if they then actually managed to learn something from it
