Spoke to DS' teacher about his reading material

And she is going to get him to chose books from year 6!!! He is only 7 (yr3) but flying through the books for 9-12 years olds. I asked her to make sure that the books are suitable for him as I know that some early teen books can be 'near the mark' and I don't want him to read anything that isn't suitable. I am so proud of him

That's really nice, sparklymieow! One of the happiest sights, to my mind, is seeing my DS1 absorbed in a book - it's great, isn't it?

He has read 3 books this week alone, its lovely to see him sitting there reading away, so much nicer than him being on the computer for hours.
