Sick today - school tomorrow?

DS was sick today. He was being sick until about 3 o'clock. He brightened up this evening and ate some dry krispies and managed to keep them down. If he is not sick again and is not unwell tomorrow morning should he go to school?

I'm under the impression that they should not be sick for at least 24 hours, if not 48, before going back to school. Am I right?

I'd say 24/48 hrs if it's D+V, otherwise I'd send him if he's not unwell.

Ds1's school asks parents to keep children off school for at least 24hrs after they last vomited.

Thank you. I think I will keep him off tomorrow anyway as he was only just picking up at about 8 this evening.

He still looked really pale when he went to bed. I hope he gets a good sleep and that dd doesn't get it. She is only 2 so could be messy!
