Some children like sport; others just dont (especiallygirls)

P.E teachers tend to be pushy by nature. But it is daft to push the wrong children. Can be even cruel

You got that in the army; but most instructors were sensible

Its a bit like like pushy american stage parents. (They seem a little off beam)

I suppose some needs a bit of a gift to enjoy sport or stage.

Though you can have health execise. My games teacher showed her underwear. The boys did not complain

you will gather from what I have said that I was not a spo rting type. I played a little footie and cricket; and I still take a great interest in football, .
Tcrcket, snooker finals, snogging, ...But none of that has made me feel all children need to be dragooned into sport.gabby Logan who has chosen to preech sport on Mumsnet....come from a sporting background ...she is steepedin ball games (nopun intended) Focussed enthusiasts need watching. Especially if they wish to convert young minds to their of thinking. THE MAJOR PUBLIC DEBATE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN PLACE BEFORE HER DECISION....whats compulsory ,whats voluntary and many other questions? Lets have a real debate
