Mount Carmel School Northfields Ealing

We are moving to Northfields and want to send our boy to Mount Carmel School - does anyone have any views or comments on it, and trying to get a place in the school. Are there any streets that are in the catchment area but too far away to get in? They told me last year that everyone in the catchment area got it... All advice on buying in the area re schools would be welcome.
Thanks

surely as a Catholic school they don't have a catchment area, is it not all about parishes and letters from the priest?(do not have children in the faith school system)

No it is all about catchments! Mount Carmel is very very popular. Check out www.mountcarmel.ealing.sch.uk/admissions-2011/ and also have a look at gis.ealing.gov.uk/propertyaccount_educ/educ-addressbuilder.asp where you can put the address in of housesyou like and see if they are in catchment. All the catholic schools in Ealing are very over subscribed so do your research!

Hi there, my children both go to Mount Carmel and yes it is a very good school. Entry would also depend on what age your child is on weather there are places. Good luck!
