catchment area problem

How and from where can i get the list of post codes that fall in the catchment area of any particular school so that i will find house in those areas only.

Try LA website but do bear in mind that catchments can, and do, change and some areas prioritise by distance by a specific method of measurement (ie public footpath or as the crow flies to school gate)

Round here there are no fixed catchment areas - they vary according to the number of applicants in any given year. So an over subscribed school - particularly one which gives sibling priority - might have a 'catchment area' of a couple of hundred metres in a particularly bad year.
