Hi, looking at school for DS1 (9) for year 7.
Not achieving enough for RGS, County most likely state school.
Went to see Duke of Kent who have recently expanded to 16 (GCSE) and increased size of intake ( next year 7 of 50)
Very impressed by the staff, facilities and the more gentle nature. Currently in large state primary and DS1 has struggled all the way through with friendships and size of school. Don't see how things are going to get better in secondary school.
Any one had any experience or indeed other ideas of schools within 25 minutes of Guildford.
