Lower case I reckon

NotActuallyAMum · 09/11/2005 16:30

I'd say lower case too - but just in case I'd chicken out completely and change it to:

Welcome to our little place on the internet......

Sparks · 09/11/2005 16:37

Is internet in lower case? or is it Internet? Should be the same for both. I think internet and world wide web. I checked Chambers Dictionary and they disagree.

fireflyfairy2 · 09/11/2005 16:41

I'd just say the best little place on the www save on the spelling mistakes

jayzmummy · 09/11/2005 18:43

Ok so nobody knows

How about this???

If you have any please contact us.

is it enquires or inquires???

Just checked online dictionary Jayz, either will do. I'm always more comfy with enquiries though, as some dictionaries don't contain inquiries. Those that do, that I have found anyway, give the same definition of 'A query or question' for both.

jayzmummy · 09/11/2005 19:30

bet the american use inquiries....blame it on me mom!

enquiries is more common these days but both are correct. I think inquiries is the older form.

world wide web is lower case as far as I'm concerned.
