I amlosing my job this June, and this is giving me the oportunity of re-think my job.
Can TA give me the inside of being a TA? the pros and cons?
I have been working in Finance for 12 year (all full Time) but now thinking that a job with term time only hours would suit us better. Grand parents don't live locally and it would very beneficial for my DDs to spend more time with them. They are getting old and is not easy for them always to come to us.

Don't do the job for the money as it is truly shocking!

It does fit in with holidays which is fab.

I read with 30 children per week, sort spellings and homelearning, photo copy, do first aid, lunch duties.

Love the job but glad DH earns what he earns!

It's not that easy to get a job. A friend of mine has been temping for nearly 2 years and has just got a permanent position. She said often she is up against newly qualified teachers who can't get an NQT post so go for TA instead.
