Hello people :0)
I'm moving to Cornwall in august and was wondering if anyone knows what the schools are like with special needs as both my sons have statements.

Any info on this or about restbites or organisations in or around the area would be fab :0)

Thank u xxx

I know that Launceston College (the comp) has a great SEN dept, and I think Liskeard was good as well. Don't know about the primaries. Are you going to be in Liskeard itself, or a bit further out?

There are two big local comps, Liskeard and Callington, most can choose which their child attends. I have also heard that Looe has catered well for children with statements.

Where are you planning to live? What sort of issues do your children have?

I lived and taught there for years until I moved abroad. I still own my house there and have many friends still in teaching there as well.

My lad went to Mount House in Tavistock (prep), but it was the only way to get wrap around childcare to fit in with my teaching job and the fact that dh was away.
