Does anyone know if any good tutors or agencies in west or central London? Primary school age.

Hello

Yes, based in East Sheen, Laidlaw Education is absolutely brilliant and has classes and individual lessons in Fulham and Chiswick, if that is any good for you (and East Sheen). I know lots of families who go there and they swear by it.

They are extremely helpful and nice, not at all pushy, give very helpful advice if you need it, have lots of tutors, so can find the right one to suit. The kids love the lessons too. Hope this helps you.

I was just looking through the posts about to advertise myself as a tutor when I saw your message. It might not be of any use to you as I am only available in the holidays, but I thought I ought to reply anyway. I teach year 5 at a primary school in Tooting and am also the school languages co-ordinator (main language French). I have a one year old myself, so term time is too busy to do extra tuition, but I have childcare during half term and over the summer holidays (Wed-Fri) if you are interested. Regards, Claire (in Earlsfield, SW18)

I have successfully used laidlaw and would recommend them too. My DC was successful with a 7+ application to a selective school with their guidance.

Hope that helps.
