Its the end of term !

Anyone else broken up today for the Easter hols??
Ds happy to have school hols, but not fussed about going skiing, which is tomorrow.. . .Shock
Much to my surprise.. how can he not enjoy going away to the Alps to ski?

Its put a slight dampner on things.. but I suppose he will be quite happy once we are there.

Another 2 weeks before end of term here

Ours broke up too today - could you possibly be in SW London? Don't mind the early break and can understand why but am a bit Hmm about going back during Holy Week tbh. Can't have a holiday either because the dd doesn't break up for another two weeks!

I find that a child's enjoyment of any holiday is directly proportional to the size of and time spent in the swimming pool.

Mine break up tomorrow too - and don't go back until after Easter and then only for 1 day as it is followed by the Royal Wedding weekend.... so really they are off over a month...Shock!

we don't finish until Maundy Thursday 21st April , catholic school. Think most will have had 2 weeks and gone back by then !!

DD breaks up on Friday, at lunch time. She has 3 weeks holiday = goes back Easter Tuesday.

I break up a week on Friday. I have 2 weeks off and go back on Easter Tuesday.

We have another week and are getting antsy about finishing exam courses. After Easter, we just have 1.5 weeks until study leave, so we basically have to be done and dusted next week.

But I can't wait for the holidays :)

cat64 - my DD is at an independent primary so has about 3-4 weeks additional holidays compared to state schools.

Break up on Friday here, for 4 weeks(!), no thanks to Royal Wedding! As a result of said wedding DS has to do a half day Saturday school 1st weekend in May followed by a very short 9 week summer term....eeeeeekk

DS and DD break up 8th April. Go back Wed 27th April for two days. Then back in on Tuesday 3rd May. Break up for half term on Friday 27th May so the first half of the summer term is v short.

We don't break up till April 15!

Easter is in the middle of the hols and then we go back on May 3. Man that'll be a short half term!

Mine finished today and don't go back till May day bank holiday thats a whopping 4 weeks off, all due to a wedding!!!

DC3 doesn't finish officially for another 2 weeks but we are taking them all skiing so he will miss the last week of his term. He is a bit Sad that he has to go next week, can't imagine what he would be like if he had to do another week whilst everyone else was on holiday
