Is your DS/DD due to start school in Cambridgeshire next year? Do you want any choice about whether they go to their catchment school?
You need to know that Cambridgeshire county council have moved the application date for primary school places forward to 8th Dec this year.
They say they have publicised this, but it's come as a complete shock to me, having been told by a number of other parents/nursery staff that applications will normally be made in March next year.
If you need a copy of the applications handbook, your catchment area school should have one, but even Cambridge CC's website doesn't have the right version of the applications handbook on it. Grrrrrr.
