Hi my DS age 7 has been offered a place next sept and I was wondering if anyone had any views on this school especially with a new headmaster. I know it has a very good acdemic history and also does quite a lot of sports which on paper should suit him. Would appreciate any views.

met the Hm and toured the school with a view to our DS Sept 2011.Probably a good school but a bit run down and requires a complete refurbishment. Liked the HM and his plans for the school..DID NOT LIKE THE OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL !!>>> What's the point if the pupils can only swim for a few weeks May / June /Sept and Oct etc ???
The upper floor art room didn't impress me nor did the ICT room and the outdoor classrooms are a joke..probably tehy would blow over in a strong gale !! Well as there is nothing else to choose from in that area ...well none that my DS can join because of the 'waiting ' lists ...We love Rokeby, Shreswbury House in Surbiton and KC Junior but no chance only to give them all a 'registration fee ' which seems like a good business for them...
