Habs girls 5+ assesment

I'm new to mumsnet and not sure where to post this thread. I am thinking of applying for 5+ entry at Habs girls and understand there an assessment. Anyone know what they are looking for in terms of number skills/reading/writing/fine motor skills etc. I'm new to the north london /herts area and seems to be the most competitive place in the country to get in to primary/secondary schools. Anyone who?s got any knowledge about this pls advice ?

No - I am in chelsea where much of the same pressures apply. By 5+ do you meant that you looking to join the school in class 1, rather than reception?

Michael, yes joining the school in year 1. Missed the reception entry application closing date.

Do they send out sample past papers? Some private schools do this. Might be worth asking.
