Hi there

I just got result letter regarding appeal for my son to transfer to another school. Unfortunately, it was bad news. I feel so deflated even though I felt in my gut he wouldn't get in.
My DB seems to be ok about it but I'm very upset..why did I even bother appealing???!!!! Anyway I'm going to try for another school which is alot closer and touch wood he may scrape into there. I'm not happy not happy at all, don't know how much more disappointment i can take.

Usually, if you cannot get in on appeal, it's because the school is oversubscribed and there really isn't any space. Maybe it wouldn't have been right for ds - keep going x

Thank you..DB told me i'm more upset than he is about all of this. He goes to a crap school where the teachers lose the kids work and other nonsense i won't bore u with.

I know my problems are trivial compared with what's going on overseas but can't stop crying. How do you get those little faces in the text??!!

I feel your pain. Good luck - its good that you take such an interest in your childs education esp when many dont bother.
