Dd has received an offer today from one of the two grammar schools we put down for her.
We've decided not to accept though, the rural school we subsequently found after offer day has comparable results, is a much easier journey and has more of a community environment.
Thinking about it, the grammar offered is all about the results and has a reputation for hothousing.
I genuinely think dd will achieve the same results if she goes to the comprehensive.
So, alls well that ends well, dd is excited and so are we.
Hope all the rest of you who were disappointed on offer day have had a good resolution.
