I've just got a job as a dinner lady at my dc's school, I am getting on with the job and have been told most of it is 'common sense' which of course it is.

But, can anyone give me any advice on questioning techniques for example if a yr 5 denies pushing another, etc? I'll learn, but in the meantime any advice welcome!

My DD does the same job and if any probs she bends
down to childs level so not to appear confrontationable and justs asks if there are any
probs she can help with without it being dealt with by the head teacher and when they realise that you will take it further you will prob get the truth and an apology for the other child, good luck with the job you will need the patience of a saint with all the little darlings
