Post-16 curriculum - anyone know what's happening?

I know the 5-16 yrs (and early years) curriculum is undergoing a major review.

Has anyone heard anything about A-levels and other post-16 courses? Are they staying as they are for the near future?

A levels have already undergo a major change within the last few years with the move from 6 modules to 4 and the introduction of the A* grade.

Is that for all subjects?
And does that mean the government will leave them as they are? After all they scrapped the new primary curriculum and diplomas etc.
I'm particularly interested in science subjects and knowing if there are going to be any shake ups in those...
