Our school has moved over to the Big Picture approach to the curriculum for our yr 5. Not sure how effective it is, does anyone have more experience and thoughts? I've heard it's something the Government is trialing for which schools get funding?

no idea what the big picture is but the old way didnt work either At primary school 10 years ago there was additional literacy support but if you were dislexic like my daughter in the words of the head teacher then it was way above her head if only she was still at the school i could push the brill results shes got today for her first a level exams this year wherever and say dont keep on ignoring kids who need help or writing kids of at primary school
