my daughters friend was round tonight, and she said her EMA will stop in september and she thinks the free school/college bus passes will go aswell.

The government wont save any money,as a lot of students wont be able to afford to get to college,so will end up on benefit at £50 a week,so where is the saving ?

was it not to be 'replaced'??

happilyconfused · 06/03/2011 16:55

We have heard nothing at our school yet - not sure what it will be replaced with but I read one document that referred to academic support for school trips, exam fees and revision books and not just here is #30 spend it on whatever your like.

Current EMA payments will stop at the end of the academic year for Year 12.
