Just to say 'I'm happy'! (and we consider ourselves v lucky).
After a long saga, an appeals process and lots of good advice from MN-ers, DS has a place in a wonderful school that is everything we wanted - flat access throughout, a small school, AND it's a good school. He will be starting in January, and today, only 3 school days after we took our acceptance form into the school, the SENCO has rung and arranged an intial meeting for us, with DS, in 2 weeks time!
I am SO impressed!
AND a wonderful MN-er has a child there!
