Got results today and teacher thought the maximum you could get was 280 in total ( 140 in each test) but she seemed unsure.

How do you find out how your kid did on the Wandsworth Test?

irisjohnson · 01/03/2011 17:30

we found out by emailing Wandsworth council (we are out of borough)

DS got his scores - he got 267/282 so I reckon that's 94.6% so probably not good enough for a selective stream place.....:-(

simdani · 24/02/2012 18:30

How do you calculate the percentage because the minimum score is 69 and not zero. My son got 278/282

gazzalw · 25/02/2012 11:18

Sorry can't help with that at all. It's all getting a bit too complicated! Maybe this conversion of results to % is a total red herring as is the 98% cut off.....

Is Graveney your son's first choice, simdani? Sounds like he should have a good chance if it is - as I have already commented, a lot of the children who have scored very highly will be creamed off to indies/grammars/other schools.....

There doesn't seem to be any speculation/confirmation as to how far down the WT results list Graveney has to go to fill the 63 selective places

Graveney is my old school. It was fantastic even then when the facilities were terrible so now it must be really great :)

no-one has a bad word to say about it which says an awful lot!
