DD is still in her nursery year so hasn't started learning to write at school yet. She can write her own name easily and fairly small. She's now starting to want to write other words. We've got her the Jolly Phonic workbooks but she doesn't like having to write the same letter over and over again and says she wants to write words inside.
I know she's probably better off practising individual letters but I thought I would print off some worksheets anyway with the words she wants to write as I don't want to dampen her enthusiasm for writing.
Can anyone tell me where to find a font that will have the letters in dots with arrows to show the direction of the pen? I've tried looking for some free ones but there don't seem to be any?
The primary school DD will go to next September teaches cursive from Reception so do I show her to print or go straight into cursive? She's a bright button so would easily be able to adapt once she's started Reception.
