My DD is in Yr 2. They have a mailbox in their class so they can post letters to each other.

Today has a letter from her teacher saying

"Dear DD, you are working very hard and I am very pleased. Well done. love Miss Teacher".

How great is that?

She also has one from her friend saying "hope you have a happy day". Bless.

At DD's secondary school they send letters home foe good work, and today she got 2 certificates for a great start to the term. It's nice as we can praise her & she doesn't get embarrassed in front of her friends.

A little bit of praise for good work lifts you right up I always think. Even more so at secondary level I would think but yeah, keep it quiet!
