Hello, could anyone give me advice/opinions on Charterhouse School for a boy at 13? Is it very selective and academic? Looking at boarding (and I know the cost of the fees!).

Is it as good as say Harrow or Eton or is it slightly below?

I don't know but I understand it is a very large proportion of boarding kids and not particularly academically selective and very sporty.

It is quite selective but not to the same extent as Eton. Harrow have a different seletion process so an average boy could get in if very talented in other areas.

It is a good school but nothing compares to Eton! As for Harrow, well I would say it is better but the location is a major drawback.
