My DS has completed the USCAS application forms for 5 Universities. Three are to study Medical Physics and two for Physics. We have visited the Physics uni's and he really likes this course.
He visited one of the uni's who are offering Medical Physics and he has now decided the he would rather study pure physics.
The dilema we have is:-
- Is it poor etiquette to ask the uni's to change courses from Medical Physics to Physics.
- Does anyone actually think this would be possible or are we being a bit niave.
- If the Uni's aren't prepared to cahange his cours, then he is left with only 2 options. This wouldn't be a problem, but both have offered him a place one with min ABB, the other, which is our preferance out of the two, with a min AAA.
- If he puts his preferred choics down and doesn't acheive the AAA, what happens next?
Sorry if this is long, all this is very new and confusing for me. Any help or advise would be appreciated.
