Budgeting for private school fee rises

OK, I know I?m asking the impossible here and none of you can see in to the future, but what sort of percentage average fees rise would you budget for if you were thinking of sending your child to and independent school for the next 7 years?

I'm trying to sort out our budget!
Thanks

difficult one. I think the average is around 3 to 5% pa but last year DS's school went up by 11.5% Shock

Difficult one. I would think below 5%.

I budget for 5% and if it is less I am happy. You also need to build in the jumps between pre-prep and junior and then junior to senior.

Depends if you're taking account of all the extras at each level eg exam fees or just looking for something simple. I look at 7% for budgeting, though only once in 6 years has it come to that. But then we're living in interesting times. I suspect that as schools breach the next price point (£30k for boarding) then fees will shoot up a bit more.
