Hello, just wondered if anyone could give me an idea roughly when Universities generally invite students to interviews? I just would like a rough idea so that I can prepare work that I will need time off!

Not all potential students are interviewed. Have you applied for a course that requires an interview e.g. medicine?

I think the best thing you can do is ring up the correct department of the Uni (or Unis) that you have applied to and ask them.

It will look keen!

Thanks...yes I have been told I will be interviewed but I like my life well planned in advance! Sorry for being so impatient Wink

You have to know the practices of the individual universities.

My DS was applying last year and he had interviews in the second half of November (about a month after submitting his UCAS form). He had an invitation to another one in February.

Some universities deal with their applications as they come in, and others save them up till later.

If you are invited for interview, you should get 2-3 weeks notice.
