Just wondering what anyone would feel in regard to primary school selection in NI. My DD1 is in P7 due to finish this summer while my youngest is due to begin P1 September. DD1 has had a good education in a now classed rural school of just over 140 pupils. In my mind it might be threatening closure within the next 7 years. I'm not sure the school has a lot to offer in regards to extra curricular activities etc. The class sizes are small which is an advantage but the school has quite limited funding. We went to see a school last night and were v impressed with it but the class sizes are between 20-30 and they are taught in a much more fun way (revised curriculum) so it's not straight into reading/writing from the beginning. What would be your ultimate decision on choosing a school for your child?
