Primary Schools Year 5 Reports versus banding tests

Do schools actually use the Year Five Reports from primary schools any more? A growing number of my children seem to be sitting upto six banding tests (Pan-London six applications for secondary school). Does anyone know the weighting of these reports versus banding? Thanks

I don't know any schools that use Y5 reports

My dd1 sat one banding test for Greenwich which covered all the schools on our CAF. Lewisham also has one test. However, some academy schools have their own complex banding schemes, and use their own tests.

AFAIK schools do not use banding for setting etc, but use more recent data.
