Oh I hope not!

My ds went dressed as Percy the Parkeeper once - wellies and checked shirt and grandads flat cap! He hated dressing up so this was the only thing we could think of that wasnt 'dressing up' as such!

Good luck!

As one of the (probably) dreaded teachers who used to organise this annually at school, some of the best cotsumes I saw were the simplest; pirates (old clothes, face paints), oliver twist(old ripped clothes), floppy the dog (browny yellow clothes, tail made out of a piece of fur fabric, ears from Claires, face paints) Harry Potter (face paints)a scientist (one of Dad's old shirts, fake glasses or face paints). Don't go mad or worry about it, the school won't mind (or shouldn't anyway). Hope it goes well.

I was going to post the same thing - dd and ds need to dress up on Thursday. It gets a bit harder now they are older. Dd wants to be dorothy from The Wizard of Oz but no real ideas for ds yet. I always think Harry P is too predictable. The problem is by Y4 and 5 many characters in books are just regular people. Last year dd went as The Illustrated Mum - wore ripped denim and all the fake tatoos we could find.
