RC primaries in London - advice please!

Hello. We are soon moving back to London after a few years overseas, with two small children. I'd like them to go to Catholic primaries (we are RC) and wondered if anyone had a view on which are the best in London (whatever exatcly that means to you). We don't yet have a place to live so I'd love to hear about any particularly good ones unless they are in horribly expensive areas or VERY far out. Also, I don't quite understand how admissions work for faith schools - do they use the catchment area thing? Is it AS crucial to live within 0.2 miles as it is with top-rated secular schools? Many thanks indeed for any insights.

I'v heard good things about CC in Brixton. Kids seem to come over from Herne Hill/East Dulwich for it (at least I see them walking home through Brockwell Park).

We live near Queens Park - families have choice of Convent of Jesus and Mary Inf School and St Mary Magdalen's Junior in Willesden and St Mary's, Kensal Town and St Charles's Ladbroke Grove. Know Cof J &M and St MM and extremely happy with these schools. Equally other parents very happy with St M and St C.

Neighbours down the road from me in Queens Park sent their kids to St Xaviers in Maida Vale (apparently still a good RC primary school plus a couple of other excellent RC primary schools there) - stil abit of a hinterlands re secondary schools I'm afraid.

Another vote for Corpus Christi, and also for St Andrews in Streatham.

corpus christi is brixton is fine as long as you do as you're told. Not true though about them getting a "fair number" of boys into the oratory and cvms. It's about two each year to oratory and ocassionally a boy or two to cvsm.
